Huge TPO Roof Project!

Huge TPO Roof Project!

We were initially contacted through a google ad that we were running at the time. We received a call requesting a bid to clean not only the sidewalks outlining the building but a quote to also, clean the entire roof top of the building. This building is located off of Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We took a ride out there and put the drone in the air to ensure it was a TPO roof. After confirming it was indeed a TPO roof we measure the square footage of the roof and sent over the bid. On the roof cleaning after measuring, it came to a square footage of right around 107,000 SQ FT. This is by far our biggest TPO roof cleaning to date as Veteran Preaux Wash. We were the right team and company to tackle this major cleaning and provided the customer and company with 100% satisfaction upon completion. They were in shock at the difference it made when we showed the before and after photos that we were able to capture with our drone overhead. Performing this roof cleaning will now ensure a lower monthly electricity bill due to the white roof instead of the black algae roof keeping heat in from the sun. Also, the building will maintain a much cooler environment due to a freshly cleaned white roof.

What is TPO roofing?

"TPO roofing is a relatively inexpensive rubber roofing material that's most often used on commercial buildings. TPO stands for Thermoplastic Polyolefin; it's made primarily from recycled rubber, and sold in rolls that are held together by seams that are “glued” together using heat."

Benefits of TPO Roofing?

"TPO roofs are heat-reflective and energy-efficient. They are resistant to ultraviolet, ozone, and chemical exposure. Because of this, TPO roofing can save you money on cooling costs, through reflecting heat and helping maintain a cooler interior structure."
